Since its foundation the company focused on these two areas leading to a profound knowledge in school administration processes and food data such as food composition, food consumption and total diet studies. Knowledge and experience come from cooperation in national, European and international projects with food scientists and experts from universities, governmental agencies and industry. For food data, the company created in cooperation with ETH Zurich an information system called FoodCASE to manage food data. Many European governments use FoodCASE nowadays as the national central food database. FoodCASE is in the meantime the most used database system to manage food data.
