Expertise: Department of Food and Resource Economics is a research institute at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Copenhagen (UCPH). The Department contribute to a better understanding of the economic aspects of the production, consumption and marketing of food through conducting applied economic research characterized by independence, quality and versatility. The total number of people employed at the institute is about 100. UCPH has a long history of conducting high-level research within agricultural, fisheries and resource economics, agronomy as well as a wide range of statistical methods and applied research tools. Søren Marcus Pedersen, Phd, associate professor has participated in several research projects regarding, farming systems, farm management, precision farming and advanced information systems, including the EU-projects: SWUP-MED, FUTURE FARM, FERTORGANIC and SAFIR as well as several national projects. The legal entity who will sign the contract with the EC is the central administration of UCPH.
