I have an entrepreneurial and business management background in ICT area, having founded several ICT companies developing products and servicies for Internet of Things and Smart Logistics markets.  In 1994 I had a first-cycle degree in business administration, followed by two years of computer engineering from the UNED University. In 2001 I had a Master’s degree in e-Business from the UPC/EAE University. This mixed academic background helped me dealing well in both worlds: technical and business administration. In 2003 I founded my first company, Advantur Technologies, developing business control software for maintenance, transport and logistics areas. In 2006, I taked participation in a very innovative startup company, Evolution Algorithms, launching Logisplan, a route planning and optimization system used today by several big companies in Spain.  Currently, I'm the manager of Ubikwa Systems, a new spanish startup company, located at the Scientific and Technological Park of the University of Girona, where we provide research and developing services in the area of Ubiquitous Computing and Internet of Things. Our principal market and focus of interest is Smart Farming, developing new innovative products for Smart Logistics, Precision Agriculture and Precision Livestock Farming.
