David founded www.kelsius.com in 2002. He built and lead the company to home market recurring revenues of €500K. Securing VC investment in 2008 to globalise the company, he remains a creative force in the development of existing and new technologies. David obtained a Ph.D. in Fusion Physics at Imperial College, London. Returning to Ireland, he was active in wind energy research before founding Force Field electric fencing in 1984. David was a delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Trade and Investment in Ireland. He studied US business on the Ron Brown programme at Boston College. David has worked as an expert technical and commercial evaluator for the European Commission. From 2008-2011, he led the Kelsius participation in the €4M E Stars project to develop new battery technology for wireless sensors.
