I've been working for CSP as ICT policy advisor and international affairs manager for over 10 years. My competences range from local development to innovation management, to innovation policy, to technlogy transfer, with particular reference to the ICT field. CSP is a non-profit ICT Research Centre, recognized as research laboratory by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. Among its shareholders, the Piemonte Regional Government, Politecnico di Torino, Università di Torino, Comune di Torino. CSP operates on a local, national and international level, performing experimental development and industrial research in accordance with the Eu norms on Innovation and R&D. CSP activities refers to domains such as Big Data and Internet of Things, Networking and Wireless Communication, Networked Media, Social Innovation. CSP’s missions to apply scientific and technological research to develop local innovation potential. CSP has been performing, in the last 13 years, the technology transfer of the R&D outputs to local communities, enterprises (above all SMEs), local PAs, with particular reference to Piemonte area. CSP’s approach is based on the Open Innovation paradigm, on cooperative research within the so-called JOINT LABS and on the European Living Lab model (to develop experimental solutions co-designed and tested on end users in real local settings).
