About Mohamed Bourouah: System devloper and research scientist at Hahn-Schickard, during last 4 years was responsible for system design for nutrients measurement in soil using ion-selective electrodes and colorimetry methods, both methods are used for online and in-situ measurements, for these purposes an electrical and mechanical design performed and evaluated. The system analyze the macronutrients, EC and pH. Soil mixing and extraction with Di-water is done automatically using mechanical developed system . The extract is transferred by fluidic components to a measurement chamber where up to 6 ion selective electrode (ISE) can be installed. The self-developed hardware and software provides access to sensor data, sensor calibration and system settings, for mapping purposes a GIS data are logged to create nutrients distribution map.
