She received the degree in management engineering, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Advanced production systems from Politecnico di Bari, Bari, Italy, in 2010. She is the Scientific Director of the InResLab scarl, a private research organization conducting fundamental and industrial research, and experimental development in mechanical engineering and environmental protection.
