Thomas Bournaris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is the Head of the Laboratory of Informatics in Agriculture. He works and has interests in agricultural economics, ict in agriculture, eGovernment, farm management and regional planning, sustainability in agriculture and management of agricultural resources. He has participated in many national and European FP5, FP6, FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects. He received his PhD from the Department of Agricultural Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His recent publications include papers in Agronomy, Sutainability and Energies Journal, the Journal of Environmental Management, Land Use Policy, New Medit and Environmental Monitoring and Assessment.
