Supply chain management, corporate responsibility and tracebality in the food system:
MTT's Responsible Food Economy programme developes corporate social responsibility within food chains and produces information for more responsible food choices. The programme promotes competitiveness, traceability and transparency of the Finnish food chain. We work with businesses in the sector to define and build food chain responsibility content and to produce tools for developing, measuring and managing responsibility. We are also developing methods to assess the environmental impacts of foodstuffs and to support communication about responsibility.
