Spraytec is a company that specializes in precision agriculture, variable rate application and pest recognition software with a focus on UAV (unmanned aerial vehicles). We are a startup by 2 engineers with over 20 years of practical experience in pest management and crop protection systems. We believe that the amount of intelligence and automation in future pest control will become more and more important compared to the amount of products (pesticides and fertilizers) used to create an optimal crop protection in the field. Using a pesticide to combat weeds, insects or diseases is not enough. We focus on pest recognition systems to identify the correct pest and also on pest appliance systems to optimize the spraying technique in order to obtain the best result with a minimum amount of resources. We believe that UAV's can add a lot of value in identifying and controlling pest while limiting the operational cost and workload of the farmer.
