Evaluation of technologies available for implementing site specific crop management practices

Project information
Objectives 1) Assess the applicability & accuracy of high resolution GPS for obtaining elevation data for making landscape maps. 2) Examine the feasibility of creating 'expert maps' for fertilizer application based on landscape classes. 3) Determine the economic benefits of site specific crop management. 4) Help farmers make the best use of on-the-go yield monitors, with the potential to develop low-technology, cost effective site specific crop management practices.
