CESAR, Centre for agricutural and rural development, is an Association founded by the University of Perugia, the Foundation for Agrarian Education of Perugia and the City of Assisi.
Created in 1983, CESAR offers its expertise in planning, research, consulting and vocational training, both in the territorial and local development fields, and in food processing and environmental sectors.

Constitute the present social structure, in addition to the three founder members, the City of Deruta, the City of Marsciano, the City of Perugia, the agricultural organization “Coldiretti Umbria” and the Italian Confederation of Farmers of Umbria.
