TEPRO Consultores Agrícolas S.L. is a Spanish Consulting Firm located in Seville. It is the leader of the TEPRO GROUP, who has over 40 years of agricultural and livestock farm management expertise. The TEPRO GROUP manages more than 75,000 hectares in southern Spain (Seville, Cádiz, Córdoba and Extremadura), Portugal and Bulgaria. It also has subsidiaries in Morocco and Senegal. TEPRO has more than 40 years’ experience in managing agricultural crops in the Mediterranean region. Has participated both as leader and as partner in regional and national RDI projects; some of them self-authored and others in collaboration with other SMEs, Universities and Research Institutions aiming for a more sustainable agriculture. TEPRO has been involved in tight collaboration in the research lines related to irrigation efficiency carried out by the Department of Agronomy of the Institute of Sustainable Agriculture (IAS–CSIC), participating in different research projects related to Water Management and Deficit Irrigation Strategies on different crop systems. Participates, as Associated Partner, in the WAGRINNOVA Project, which is framed within LEAP-Agri, a joint initiative of Research and Innovation (R&I) Europe-Africa related to Food and Nutritional Security and Sustainable Agriculture (FNSSA). The WAGRINNOVA project “Co-innovations through scales to improve sustainable intensification, resilience and food and nutritional security in water management of agricultural systems in Western Africa" is one of the 27 projects that have been approved in this last call (2018).TEPRO is partner in the consortium for the MEDWATERICE project “Towards a sustainable water use in Mediterranean rice-based agro-ecosystems” and leads one of the Case Studies developed within the project. MEDWATERICE, has been selected among 18 projects to be funded by the PRIMA program (2018-Multitopics).
