The Department of Agricultural Economics is specialized in education and research related to the socio-economic aspects of agriculture and food. Our research focuses on economic and sociopolitical analyses of agriculture and food ‘from farm to fork’, including urban, peri-urban and rural areas all over the globe. Our academic teaching reflects this broad scope and attracts an international audience. We offer related services to governmental and non-governmental organisations, as well as to corporations and civil society.
