Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University is a public university established in 2010, which currently employs approximately 1198 faculty members and research assistants, and 317 people as administrative staff. With regards to Business School, its mission is to explore and disseminate knowledge, encourage innovation, and contribute to the economic, social, and cultural development of the society. Thus, the School offers undergraduate and graduate programs, and has established a research centre that caters the contemporary needs of business, and develops research projects. The School is consisted of the following departments: Management, Banking and Finance, International Trade and Business, Management Information Systems. As mentioned above, the School has also established the Centre of Competition Research (REKMER), which aims to improve the competitiveness of industries with high growth potential. The Business School runs research projects supported by public and private organizations and produces scientific publications. In order to meet the high standards set by the organization and keep up with the above mentioned activities, the academic personnel obtains a strong academic and project experience background. Besides the educational aspect of the activities, the organization has been active also on the development and management of EU and national projects, regional development studies, competitiveness research, and advisory system and training services. AYBU has a valid "Erasmus Charter for higher Education".
