SBS was founded by Mrs. Aslı Elif Tanuğur, a Food Engineer with severeal years of research experience in the area of bee products, Mr. Taylan Samancı, a beekeeping expert and Agricultural Engineer, and a Food Science Professor Mrs. Dilek Boyacıoğlu through a research grant provided by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in Istanbul, Turkey in 2013. SBS produces BEE'O branded chestnut honey, highland honey, pine honey, natural and pure honey, as well as royal jelly, pollen and propolis products and their mixtures in different proportions that can respond to different needs and consistency and taste preferences of consumers. Currently, the company operates in a 3000 square meter facility with 120 employees in Istanbul, Turkey. SBS also led numerous research projects both at the national and international level.
