Council for Agriculture Research and Economics (CREA) is a public research body under the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and Tourism (MIPAAFT) supervision, with scientific expertise in various agricultural sectors. Headquarter in Rome (Italy). CREA is organized in 12 different highly skilled Research Centers employing 2,000 people, half of whom researchers and technologists. In this proposal is involved the Research Centre for Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (CREA–OF), which is divided in four research stations. CREA-OF has specific skills on plant physiology, plant pathology, fertigation management, cultivation techniques, soilless culture, eco-sustainable defense in greenhouse crops, and development and implementation of models for irrigation of vegetable crops.
