The Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS) takes a leading position in rankings of universities of life sciences and biological sciences in Poland. At present we have over 12 000 students, and 1500 employees. The eight Faculties offer a wide scope of education within 22 fields of study and over
30 specializations. PULS has very well developed experimental infrastructure with 6 agricultural (Maize, Wheat, Sugarbeet, Rapeseed, Grassland, Apples, Sweet an Sour Cherry), and 2 forestry experimental stations. The scientific potential of PULS is connected with the staff of over 850 academic teachers, including over 150 professors. The staff have experience in implementing R&D projects at national and EU level related to call and project scope e,g. INGOS, GHG-Europe, ECO-FCE, MULTISWARD, GO4STEVIA, LIBERATION, agriXchange, Smart Agri Food 2, InnoGrass, FP6-ADAGIO-SSA, WETMAN and SmartAgriHubs. In particular, the solutions emerging from the SmartAgriHubs project (H2020) concerning ITC platforms for agriculture will be beneficial to the implementation of the project.
