Expertise: I have been involved in research on different aspects of precision farming since 20
Facility: We have a 90 ha research farm available for field experients, and a skilled technical staff for performing relevant field work. Our technical equipment cover a MD4-1000 Microdrone quadcopter, attached with minispectrometer and thermal camera (optional RGB), and different types of handheld radiometric equipment, along with a EM38 and a newly invented FTIR multigas sensor.
Priority: We work with multi-sensor techniques in combination with a UAV aimed towards precision farming applications, such as yield/quality prognoses, site-specific N-fertilization and herbicide spraying. Additionally, our priorities cover applications of sensors for mapping soil variation and sensors for monitoring greenhouse gas emissions. Our activities rely on the use of advanced, multi-statistical methods for handling large and heterogeneous data.
