Expertise: Dr. Angelos Amanatiadis is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Production and Management Engineering of Democritus University of Thrace, Greece. He holds a Diploma and a Ph.D.(with Honors) from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, DUTH, Greece, 2004 and 2009, respectively. He has published more than 30 scientific papers and he is co-author of two book chapters. He was a guest editor in the Imaging Systems and Techniques Special Issue in Measurement Science and Technology Journal, IOP and awarded as one of Transactions "Outstanding Reviewers" in appreciation of outstanding service to the IEEE Society. He is a member of the IEEE, EuCogII and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE). He has participated as senior researcher in 4 EC funded projects: RESCUER (FP6-IST-511492), VIEW-FINDER (FP6-IST-2006-045541), INFRA (FP7-ICT-SEC-2007-225272) and AVERT(FP7-SEC-2011-1-285092).
