Priority: Research interests: Sensors, Robotics, Mechatronic Systems, Rheology, Smart Fluids. DCU is currently developing a robotic milking system for application in a rotary milking parlour. This work has been done in collaboration with Teagasc in Ireland under the Walsh fellowship scheme. The current priority for this work is the development of a high speed sensor for the determination of teat position.
