He is a PRINCE2-qualified project manager with more than 20 years working in the UK and internationally with DfID, EU and World Bank on agricultural, energy and rural development programmes. His own track record working with public, private and community sector clients is extensive and he has a reputation for innovation, detail and completion. His specialist areas include farm-based bioenergy technologies, low carbon transport, waste resource management, sustainable agriculture and renewable energy business planning. He is firmly committed to the mainstreaming of renewable energy and low carbon technologies. He uses his technical and project expertise to develop funded and commercial initiatives that raise awareness, gain commitment, promote new enterprise and skills opportunities and bring sustainable products and systems to market. He sits on the Biogas Group of the Renewable Energy Association, is a Steering Group member of the Renewable Energy Technology Alliance (RETA) and a member of the Midlands Environmental Business Club.
