About minAGRO`s owner Peter Arendt Peter Arendt, 41 years, MSc(Econ.). My primary interest during education was (still is) statistics. Currently I am working as an independent Trading and Risk Management consultant for danish farmers. I have been a Commodity Trader and Risk Manager since 2000, previously working for Aarhus Karlshamns and helping companies such as Mars, Nestle and Kraft Foods. In 2007 I managed to predict the financial crisis, with an article named “Beating the Banks”. The danish newspaper Børsen appointed me as the leading brain within statistical and technical analysis, for this articel. Also in 2007 I predicted the first steep increase in grain prices. The result of my analysis was publiched in the newsletter Effektivt Landbrug with the title “Buy animal feed now”. I have been able to predict all the long-term price trends in the grain markets since then. I am the author of the book “Stock trading and stock analysis” - the first academic book in Denmark dealing with technical analysis and risk management. The book was published by Gjellerup/Gad in 2007. First edition has just sold out and second edition is to be published in 2015. From 2009 untill today I have been trading Commodity Futures for small danish funds. Total profit approx. 130%, despite diffcult market conditions. As “Raw Material and Financial information Manager” at Aarhus Karlshamns and as self-imployed in minAGRO, I have a rich experience managing larger IT-projects. Furthermore I have a basic experience in programming of app`s and webpages for phones and tablets.
