Our Association, now chaired by Fabrizio Knights, was born in Rome in 1999 with the aim of promoting research and production of high quality wines in the vineyards of Lazio, aware of how much wealth and splendor of flavors can be expressed by territories that have offered evidence of a superior civilization of taste. We thus recovered ancient vines and simultaneously tried news one, to measure ourselves against the internationality that has always been the hallmark of the city of Rome. They were years of intense work with major collaborations wine, a constant drive to produce little grape bunches per vine to get the higher organoleptic complexity, finally completely renovating the cellars and their entire park-woods. All new wines have also been submitted in each vintage, as Articles of Association has established an organoleptic test conducted by the Tasting Committee of Control (CDC), composed of independent experts, in order to stimulate, maintain and increase their level quality. Through these strict rules, it has been born wines of seductive splendor, became through labels of great charm, that have totally renovated the image and prestige of the wine of Lazio. Heritage that continues to be enriched every year with red wines deep, complex, good keeping qualities and white wines that the cool elegance of aromas add a density of the new generation.
