The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Systems Engineering (DAISE) can offer expertise in the following areas: artificial intelligence (mainly, intelligent agents and multi-agent systems, agent-based software engineering, knowledge representation, including ontology engineering); robotics (including multi-robot systems); systems theory (holistic approach to complex problem and system analysis, intelligent systems for complex system analysis and modelling using structural modelling approach, Viable Systems Model); software engineering. My personal research interests include intelligent agents, multi-agent systems, agent oriented software engineering, robotics (especially multi-robot systems) as well as various practical applications for multi-agent systems and robotic systems.
