Dr. Katja KLUMPP, is a senior scientiste at INRA, Grassland Ecosystem Research Unit, in Clermont Ferrand, France. She is involved in GHG measurements and climate change studies, with expertise in C and N cycling of plant-soil-atmosphere. She has published on processes and mechanisms related to C storage, GHG emissions, forage production of grasslands, while her research and expertise also comprises eddy-covariance flux measurements, and processed based modeling (i.e. PaSim). She is principal investigator of a permanent grassland site involved in a long term National Environmental Research Observatory (SOERE) and the European infrastructures for Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS) and for Experimentation on Ecosystems (ANAEE) in Central France.
