Gürbüz Das (M) GD obtained his PhD degree in Animal Science at the Georg-August Universität in Göttingen (2010), and worked there as Post-Doc until 2014. Thereafter he has been working at the FBN as a scientist. His research interests include nutritional interventions to improve animal health, as well as assessing the impact of nutrition and management on host-pathogen interactions. GD acts as the vice-president in the Study Commission on Health and Welfare in the European Federation for Animal Science (EAAP).
