Evangelos Anastasiou (M) has a 5-year diploma in Agronomy with focus on arable crops cultivation while his bachelor thesis was on rapeseed varieties. He also holds MSc degree in Agricultural Engineering with focus on Farm Mechanization. His MSc thesis was on the use of proximal remote sensing technologies for crop varieties assessment (lentil and vetch varieties). His PhD thesis is focused on the application of Precision Agriculture in high value crops (table grapes and watermelons). He has participated in 1 national and 2 international projects having 3 years of research experience in total. He has 3 papers in international conferences and over 10 in national conferences. He has knowledge of using different types of proximal and aerial remote sensing technologies (GNSS sensors, multispectral cameras, laser scanner, canopy sensors, electromagnetic induction sensors) on field surveys for precision agriculture purposes. He has knowledge on using GIS, photogrammetric and statistical analysis software.
