Ismail Tontul, PhD is working as an Assist. Prof. Dr. in the Food Engineering Department at Necmettin Erbakan University, Konya, Turkey. He graduated from Department of Food Engineering at Akdeniz University in 2009, and gained his PhD degree in 2017 at same university. As an early stage researcher, he has carried out national and international research projects on fruit processing technology, food drying (including hot air drying, spray drying, freeze drying and refractance window drying) and food colloids (protien isolates and oil bodies). He published more than 25 articles based on original research, a review paper and 3 book chapters. As of Nov 2009, his publications cited more than 340 times (h-index 10) according to Google Scholar.
