Dr. Senem Seven completed her doctorate degree at Sabancı University in 2017 and since then she has been working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sabanci University Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center (SU-IMC). Since the early years of her BSc studies, she has been a part of research groups and has focused on various fields of Materials Science and Nano Engineering including theoretical investigations of macromolecules, polymer processing, nanomaterials preparation and modification, microfabrication. With the invention she developed under NANOMATTR, a Sabanci University spinoff company, she has won the Hello Tomorrow Turkey 2018 challenge. As of today, she is the co-founder of Depp-tech spinoff company SOYLGEL. Currently, she's working on development of polymeric materials and nano composites used as probe materials for agricultural sensor systems. Research area include: - development of FBG sensor probes, - electrospinning, - polymer processing, - superabsorbent polymer synthesis - polymer nanocomposites
