I am a Process and Environmental Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in a variety of roles, in research and industrial collaborations mainly related to thermal process engineering, process design and sustainable design as well as co-operations between academic and industrial partners in several countries. I also hold a doctorate in Agricultural Engineering. I have longstanding experience in coordinating and managing international multidisciplinary projects and am well versed in all aspects of engineering projects, with a focus on holistic and sustainable approaches for resource efficiency and product quality in industrial food production and animal farming. Besides my work at the university I am actively involved in the professional community, amongst others as the mentor for young engineers within the regional branch Nordhessen of the Association of German Engineers (VDI).
