Silvia Krug received the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering and the Dr. -Ing. degree with a focus on communication networks from Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany in 2013 and 2017, respectively. She is currently working as Senior Researcher in the systems design department at IMMS, Germany and as Adj. Assistant Professor in the embedded systems design research group at Mid Sweden University, Sweden. Her research interests include communication aspects for wireless sensor systems with a focus on energy-efficiency and design considerations for distributed IoT systems.
