Dr. Anna Rydberg (former Pettersson) is a senior scientist at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Division Bioeconomy and Health, Agriculture and Food, Box 7033, SE-750 50 Uppsala, Sweden. She has a PhD (2001) in Image analysis and remote sensing from the Centre for Image analysis, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. She has more than 20 years experience of innovations and digital technologies in agriculture in close collaboration with academia and industry. She has been Head of section Primary production and quality at JTI - Swedish Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering and Head of section Agriculture at SP- Swedish technical research institute (now a part of RISE).
