Ioannis Sorokos is currently a research associate at the ESQ Department at Fraunhofer IESE. He defended his PhD Thesis in 2017 at the University of Hull, in automatically generating safety assurance from optimally-allocated safety integrity levels. He completed his postdoctoral research in 2020 working on the DEIS EU research project, successfully developing the concept of the Digital Dependability Identity.
