M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark and holds a PhD in Technology Assessment from Institute of Social Sciences, Technical University of Denmark. In 2007, awarded Doctora Honoris Causa at "Gheorge Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, Romania for scientific merits and contributions in the field of environmental management and sustainable development. More than 35 years’ experience with research within food, nutrition, work and environment. In relation to food and climate, he has been responsible for the development of: • The climate strategy for food and agriculture for the Danish Society of Engineers, • A database with CO2-equivalent data for food products and ingredient • An environmental design tool for food products • Climate strategies in relation to food for businesses and consumers Michael Søgaard Jørgensen has experience from food research within sustainable food innovation, food consumption at workplaces, climate-oriented strategies for food production and consumption.
