Ifip creates and manages databases of results on behalf of the pork industry.It observes technical and economic developments.- Feeding strategies : Nutritional value of raw feedstuffs, Nutrional requirements of the animals, Feed safety, Planning technical changes : optimised feeding patterns, Providing the expertise needed to implement additional breeding-related activities such as feed mixing and milling on the farm.- Pig farming techniques : fip produces technical and economic reference documents and decision-aid tools to facilitate these changes.- IFIP acts as a watchdog and carries out studies to identify selection criteria in breeds or lines with expectations.- Animal Welfare.- Environmental issues : ifip develops tools for assessing and improving the environmental balance of swine farms.- Meat and deli : IFIP checks every possible input variable available to each type of operator, in ordre to optimise the quality of the finished products.
