Plant production is an important pillar of the Swiss agri-food industry. In addition to a sustainable production of healthy food, the challenges of food security and self-sufficiency are of increased importance. The Institute for Plant Production Sciences IPS develops problem solutions, provides decision-support expertise, delivers legal tasks and takes care of the knowledge transfer to the Swiss agri-food industry.

The Institute for Sustainability Sciences ISS deals with the research and implementation of sustainability in the agri-food sector.
