Full Professor Habilitated at the Department of Chemistry, Physics and Environment, Faculty of Sciences and Environment, Dunarea de Jos University of Galati (UDJG), Romania (http://www.en.ugal.ro/). The areas of my specializations are very broad: Graduate in Technological Physics (1987), PhD in Physics of Elementary Particles (1997), Master in Environmental Monitoring and Management (2007), Graduate in Mathematics informatics (2008), Habilitation in Industrial Engineering (2015), post-graduate in Project Management (2018), specialization in Nuclear Engineering, Security in Radiological Protection (2016) - Permit (second level) to exert nuclear activities in the domains: 1) Radiations generators - specialization: Analyses with X-rays, 2) Sealed radioactive sources - specialization: Applications with radioactive sources; certificates of training in High Resolution Gamma-ray Spectrometry and High Resolution Continuum Source Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (including Direct Solid Samples Analysis in HR-CS-AAS) (https://www.monitox.ugal.ro/images/pdf/CV_Ene%20Antoaneta_EN_2020_Februa...). I am Head of Physics Division; Director of INPOLDE excellence research center (https://www.unicer.ugal.ro/index.php/en/about-inpolde; https://erris.gov.ro/INPOLDE--Infrastructure) and interdisciplinary network created in the frame of EU funded project MIS ETC 1676, Joint Operational programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova, “Cross-border interdisciplinary cooperation for the prevention of natural disasters and mitigation of environmental pollution in Lower Danube Euroregion” (http://www.inpolde.ugal.ro/index.html) ; Scientific Director of ReFORM-UDJG Multidisciplinary Research Platform (since September 2018) and Coordinator of the ReFORM-UDJG Platform (since January 2020); Coordinator for Industrial Engineering domain, Doctoral School of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (Faculty of Sciences and Environment). I am reviewer at 33 different ISI-indexed journals; member of the Romanian Society of Physics, General Association of Engineers from Romania (AGIR) and participant at the International Cooperative Programme on Effects of Air Pollution on Natural Vegetation and Crops (ICP Vegetation) in the frame of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE); director/co-director of 18 international projects/grants. My main scientific interest is the determination of trace elements in metallurgical, geological, food and environmental materials using nuclear and atomic spectroscopic techniques (INAA, XRF, PIXE, PIGE, AAS, ICP-AES), SEM investigation of materials micro-structure and applications of molecular spectroscopic techniques (ATR FT-IR, UV-VIS) and gamma ray spectroscopy in various domains and interdisciplinary studies. Also, I am involved in study of heavy metals atmospheric deposition at European level (in the frame of ICP vegetation) using mosses as biomonitors, investigation of environmental and food radioactivity and study of occurrence of POPs in soils (PAHs, OCPs) by GC-MS, GC-ECD, HPLC. I am author/co-author of 44 articles in ISI journals; 71 articles in IDB journals; 55 articles in international and national refereed journals; 26 books/chapters; 8 monographs; 11 edited books and conference proceedings; 199 presentations at international conferences; 26 papers published in extenso in conference volumes, 58 at national conferences with international participation. Recently I managed international research projects with Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna (JINR) with the themes: Assessment of industrial impact on agroecosystems and human health risk in Romania using nuclear and related analytical techniques (Projects JINR-Romania no. 63/2019 and 111/2018); Assessment of air and soil quality using biomonitoring, neutron activation analysis and related analytical techniques (Project JINR-Romania no. 64/2019); Development of laboratory infrastructure for applications of nuclear and related techniques on the characterization of agricultural soils and transfer of potentially toxic elements in plants (Grant JINR-Romania no. 26/2019) (http://www.en.ugal.ro/files/cercetare/2020/RPICI_0319_II14_JINR_Dubna_en...). On-going projects are: 1) Project Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020, code BSB27, Title: Black Sea Basin interdisciplinary cooperation network for sustainable joint monitoring of environmental toxicants migration, improved evaluation of ecological state and human health impact of harmful substances, and public exposure prevention (MONITOX) (2018-2021) - Project Manager (https://www.monitox.ugal.ro/ ; http://www.en.ugal.ro/files/cercetare/2020/RICP_II5_BSB_en_110220.pdf); 2) Project Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020, code BSB165, Title: Creating a system of innovative transboundary monitoring of the transformations of the Black Sea river ecosystems under the impact of hydropower development and climate change (HydroEcoNex) (2018-2021) - Project coordinator from Dunarea de Jos University of Galati (http://hydroeconex.com/contact-us/ ; http://www.en.ugal.ro/files/cercetare/2020/RICP_II5_BSB_en_110220.pdf); 3) COST Action CA18130, "European Network for Chemical Elemental Analysis by Total reflection X-Ray Fluorescence" (ENFORCE-TXRF) (2019-2022) – MC member from Romania (MC Chair Laura Borgese, University of Brescia, Italy) (https://enforcetxrf.eu/, http://www.en.ugal.ro/files/cercetare/2020/RICP_II4_COST_en_110220.pdf).
