Dr. Nilay Aluftekin Sakarya: She started her academic career as a lecturer at Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Management at Çankaya University. She received BSc degree from Middle East Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. She has two master degrees from Victoria University and Ankara University in the field of Management and Local Economic Development. She also got her PhD degree from Ankara University in the field of industrial Clusters. Currently she is working at Yıldırım Beyazit University and she also head of Cluster Academy. Her research interests are; entrepreneurship, industrial clusters, local economic development, impact analysis, project development, management and implementation. She has been implemented several international, national and local projects as a coordinator which are funded by EU, United Nations and development agencies.
